--Amen. I hate to admit it, but dA is one of the worst places to go to appreciate art - because really, this is myspace for artists.
I actually only joined dA because Elfwood (at the time) required you to take a test to be eligible for an account, and I found that incredibly snooty.
I guess I'm just lucky I've met some great people on this site.
